Luang Prabang is probably the most chill city in all over Southeast Asia. That has a lot to do with the Buddhist heritage of Laos former capital.

You will probably never have heard the city's name. It certainly is not on the bucket-list of most South-East-Asian travelers. But my guess is, that you will love the place, if you are not the regular beach and booze guy you will find in many places in Thailand and increasingly Vietnam.
