Nea Chora Beach in Chania
Chania is one of the most beautiful cities of Crete, if not of Greece. But there's not only Venetian and Ottoman architecture to marvel at, but also a nice, recently modernized beach just 10 min on foot from the city center.
Leave behind the big fortified walls of the Venetian harbor and head West along the coastline until you reach a little harbor with a little pier and tiny fishing boats as well innumerable tavernas.
